Is hair transplantation a painful procedure?
Hair transplantation is a minimally invasive procedure and is generally not considered painful. Local anaesthesia is used to numb the scalp during the procedure, and most patients report feeling only minor discomfort during the transplant. Patients may experience some mild pain and discomfort in the days following the procedure, but this can usually be managed with over-the-counter pain medications.
